1953 – completed the seven-year course of secondary school No. 32 in Yaroslavl;
1955 – completed the course of the 8th and 9th forms of the school for working youth No. 10 in Yaroslavl;
1955 - 1960 – studied by correspondence at the Yaroslavl light industry technical secondary school with the specialization of a technologist in cotton-spinning;
September 1964 – May 31, 1969 – a student at the engineering faculty of N.Ye. Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. Graduated from the Academy with an excellent certificate of a pilot-cosmonaut-engineer;
1976 – earned a candidate of technical sciences degree.
OCCUPATION BEFORE JOINING COSMONAUT CORPS:
July 27, 1954 – April 12, 1955 – a cutter of workshop 5 at the Yaroslavl tyre factory;
June 2, 1955 – a worker at the Yaroslavl Order of Lenin textile mill “Krasny Perekop”;
1960 – after finishing Yaroslavl light industry technical secondary school she worked on probation in the repair section of factory No. 2;
August 11, 1960 – a full-time secretary of L.Y.C.L.S.U. of “Krasny Perekop” textile mill.
DATE OF ENROLLMENT IN COSMONAUT CORPS (GROUP NUMBER, DATE):
March 12, 1962 – was enrolled as a student-cosmonaut of group 2 (the first women enrollment) in the cosmonaut corps of the Air Force Cosmonaut Training Center by the Air Force Commander-in-Chief order;
from December 1, 1962 – a cosmonaut of group 1, department 1.
RATING: June 16, 1963 – a third-class cosmonaut.
SPACEFLIGHTS PERFORMED:
June 16 - 19, 1963 – a commander of the Vostok-6 spacecraft. Vostok-6 was in orbit simultaneously with Vostok-5 manned by V. Bykovsky. Flight duration: 2 days 22 hours 50 min. Call sign: “Chaika”.
DISCHARGE FROM COSMONAUT CORPS:
1997 – left the cosmonaut corps having reached the age limit.
OCCUPATION AT THE GCTC:
1997 - 1999 – a senior research worker of the Yu.A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
